Emmett is 6 months old today! I can't believe it! He's getting so big and cuter and cuter by the day. This 6 month marker is a big one. He's been sleeping through the night again, some nighs even 12 hours! Plus, he suddenly naps. His longest nap has been 2.5 hours! This is HUGE for Emmett! He would usually only nap 20-30 minute naps tops. I feel like a changed woman! I can actually get things done for a change. Sometimes, I just really even wish he'd get up from his naps because I miss him. I really never thought he'd come around. Everyone kept telling me that some babies are good sleepers at night, but not good nappers during the day. And I just figured that's how it was going to be until POOF! I have a baby that takes long naps! He was always happy even when he didn't nap as much, except when he was hungry or teething badly. But now, he's the happiest with all of this great rest. I am so happy for him!
I started unpacking Emmett's room at the new house last night. It's amost done. We have a deadline of November 5th for moving in. No later than that! It's all really coming together. However I am finding that with buying a house, even though you may finish a few jobs, there is always more to do. I typed up a list of what we need to have done in each room and it adds up quickly! Slowly but surely it'll get done. It may take years.
