Emmett and Teagan's play date!
Grandma Debi took Emmett over to his cousin, Teagan's house last week. Kristin did a little photo shoot with the 2 cutie patooties! Teagan is 2 months old and Emmett is 4 months old. Pretty soon they will be living less than 5 minutes from each other in Arlington Heights! They are destined to be buddies. :)

Look out Suburbs, here I come!
Emmett is going from URBAN to SURBURBAN! Hopefully we'll bring some of our Chicago character with us. We will be official home owners September 9th. Arlington Heights, here we come!
Soaking up the last days of Summer on a swing
Emmett had his first swing ride at Wells Park in Lincoln Square. We met up with my friend, Julie and her beautiful daughter, Bayla. Bayla got to show Emmett how to get into the swing of it. :)
The very next day, Grandma Debi took Emmett to the swings! She took really cute pics ! Way to go Debi!!
It's never too early to make art!
It seemed like the right time to get the paint set out! We had so much fun! (Okay, so I maybe had more fun than Emmett...) I painted Emmett's foot to paint the paper.. I had him hold onto the paint brush as I glided it across the sheet... It was really exciting to make a painting with my very own child. I feel very fortunate that I have a job that I love dearly. Making art with children has been even better than I ever could have imagined. I'm in my 4th year and I can say that I actually do love what I do. And now I get to share my love of art with my sweet son.

Emmett LOVES watching his daddy play the guitar. He looks at Eric fingers the whole time. It's pretty adorable.
