i have known my dear friend from Iowa, Lindsay since the freshman dorms at University of Iowa. we quickly became friends and have a lot in common. we are both down to earth, easy-going and friendly girls and we have so much fun together. the last time i saw lins was at my baby shower, so it was really exciting for her to come to town and meet my boy. we met at the lakehouse in wisconsin and then she spent a night at our new house too. it's really the best when such a long time can pass with a friend and then when you see each other it really feels like no time had passed at all. i think that's a sign of a true friendship. it made me so happy to have my sweet little e meet a friend i care and love so much. we hope to camp out in iowa with emmett this summer with lins.
i have been loving how people are teaching emmett new tricks. a few weeks ago, bayla taught emmett how to clap and when lins was in town she taught him "SO BIG!" and now the little guy combines the two of these accomplishments with a "so big" leading right into clapping for himself. :)
